Olha Stepanian (born 2 January 1984, Kyiv, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian photographer working predominantly in a refined black-and-white aesthetic. Her practice explores intimacy, silence, and the psychological depth of human presence. Through a subtle interplay of light and shadow, she creates emotionally charged images that reveal hidden tensions and quiet narratives within the human form, stripping the image of distraction to focus on emotional clarity and atmosphere.
Since beginning her photographic practice in 2011, Stepanian has exhibited internationally, participating in art fairs and group exhibitions across Europe and North America. Her award-winning works have been presented internationally and are held in private collections in Ireland, Germany, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Ukraine. She has participated multiple times in ArtMuc Kunstmesse (Munich), exhibited at Moniker Art Fair (New York), and held a solo exhibition at Triptych Gallery in Kyiv.
